This crane has been specially designed for marine platforms, for moving loads on the platform, on the auxiliary boats and from one to the other.
The most critical operating conditions in which this project has been tested include the following:

1.Load and unload 20 metric tons in a range of 20 meters outside the platform (capacity outside the platform);

2.The main crane should move a load of 10 metric tons on the maximum range of 43,8 m (capacity on the platform);

3.The auxiliary crane should move a load of 7,5 tons in all angles, with the range of 45 m (maximum capacity on the platform);

4.The equipment is projected to operate on a height of 35 m, from sea level to the oscilation of the boom;

5.Boom maximum length 44,2 m. The MC 100 is projected attending API-2C specifications, published on the September editions, 2004, using sea conditions of 2.5 m waves and 35 knots wind speed.
